"Hey, Chayse right?" Nathaniel smiled, as he stopped in front of Chayse and Asher.
Chasye smiling back, breathing oddly as if she had held her breath as he approached her, "Yeah, it's Chasye"

She hadn't notice how brown his eyes were now that she was staring at them.
Asher coughed, interrupting the short lived moment, "I'm Asher" He stuck out his hand.
"Okay. I'm Nathaniel" He shook Asher's hand, smirking.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Chasye best guy friend" Asher smirked back putting emphasis on "best".
"That's extremely cool"
"Yeah, it is"

Chasye glared at Asher before returning her attention to Nathaniel, smiling.
"You didn't tell me you go to this school" Nataniel said.
"Well, we never really talked, you know"
"True, true but still it was such a bore talking to Principal Mundane, really"
"She is such an annoying teacher" Chayse laughed this time, her hazel eyes squinting in the bright sun, her white teeth perfect in every way.

Asher interrupted again, "I think we better get going Chasye, we'll be late for homeroom"
"Yeah, we should get going. I'll see you around Nathaniel! If you need anything I'm right here, in the hallways, somewhere"
Asher pulled Chayse along as she struggled to gather her stuff into her bag, "C'mon Chayse more walking, less ramblings"
Chayse finally got herself together, and waved goodbye to Nathaniel as she disappeared into the crowd of students.
Nathaniel stood there, frowning, but then shrugged off and putting his DJ headphones on his ears.

He of course walked through class late, as his headphones were blasting with music.

"You're late, Mr. Kotor" Ms. Farlee said, with a monotone voice as she flipped through test papers as the class silently waited.
Removing the headphones from his ears, he smirked as he sat in a seat in the back of the classroom.

"So much for first impressions, I guess"
"So much for it, Kotor, so much" The teacher looked up her eyes dreary and her voice dropping even lower.
Chayse was seated next time, as she played with a paper clip trying to craft it into something.
Asher, proudly seated next to her sneered, "What is he doing in this class?"
Chayse looked up and shrugged, "Maybe he's really good at English, it is after all AP English"
"He doesn't look like the type to read"
"Neither do you. You look like the type to down half a bottle of steroids and stare at Playboy magazine while doing weight training"
"That's not even close to funny"
"To you it isn't, but to me it is" Chayse sneered, smiling at him.
Asher shook his head, can't helping but breaking out into a smile when she does.

"Hey, you're in AP English?" Nathaniel noticed Chayse sitting besides him.
"Yeah, just gotta love literature" Chayse threw her fists jokingly, as she smiled.
"That is very cool, what's your favorite book?"
"Too much to name"
"Same here"

Asher glared, before giving his best smile, "My favorite book is Romeo & Juliet"
Nathaniel looked at him, slightly titling his head and nodding approvingly , "Nice, very nice"
Shortly after the bell rang, and it was a free period.
Chayse purposely took longer to pack up, waiting to talk to Nathaniel.

As she saw Asher left the classroom, she turn her attention to Nathaniel.
'Sorry about the whole Asher thing" Chayse apologized.
Surprised Nathaniel looked up, "It's alright, I think he likes you though. More than a friend"
"Please, Asher and I have been friends since Kindergarten. We are nothing more than friends"
"Yeah, well, Asher definitely likes you. You should at least give your best guy friend a chance" Nathaniel smirked, as he put his headphones back onto his ears, walking away as he shakes his head sniffling a laugh.

"Ugh" Chayse glared at him, her hands rolling into fists as she stamp out into the hallway just to see Asher standing there waiting.
"He's right you know. I do like you, and you should give me a chance".

"Chayse I'm sorry, I really am" Asher followed Chayse as she quickly walked away from as she was going home.
"Ash, just leave me alone. You're starting to annoy me now" Chasye shouted, continuing to walk faster.
Asher finally caught up to her, grabbing her hand
"Okay, look, I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings yesterday at the restaurant," He licked his lips, breathing a little heavily, "look, you are my best friend in the entire world, I don't want to ever hurt your feelings"
Chasye looked at him with questioning eyes, "I'll think about it Ash. As of now, just give me some space. I'll talk to you on Monday"
"I understand. I'll see on Monday, Chasye." Disappointed, Asher stuffed his hands in his pockets and turned around walking his way back home.

Chayse continued to walking, finally reaching the curb to where he her house was at the end of the street. Next door, her old neighbors had put their house on sale, they moved to Florida. Chayse admired their relationship, they were married for 50 years and they still look at each other as if they laid eyes on each other for the first time.
"Hello Mr. Foreman" Chasye waved, giving an endearing smile.
"Hello Chasye. I'm tending the garden a bit the new movers shall be any moment now. But Marget and I thought we should at least come back to Maine to show the new family their new home" Mr. Foreman said.

Mr. Foreman  had wispy gray hair, but he was beginning to bald. Wrinkles formed around his mouth whenever he would smile and his skin was very fragile. He was tall, 6'0, he wore sliver rimmed glasses and his lips were so thin that it looks like he is always pressing them together.

Chayse smiled at him, "That's is really nice of you Mr. Foreman"
Before Mr. Foreman could even answer, a U-Haul truck rounded the corner a woman was behind the wheel.
"Well, there they are" Mr. Foreman stood up slowly, his voice filled with joy.
The woman parked the U-Haul right in front of the Foreman's house, she got of the large truck and stretched a bit.
She had short dark curls, she was tiny and she look as if she was at least 5'3. Her dark curls stuck to the side of her face from sweating, she was wearing mom jeans and a regular t-shirt.

"Hello, I am Anne Kotor" She stuck her hand out to Mr. Foreman
"Giovanni Foreman, but you can call me Gio. I used to own this house" Mr. Foreman took her hand and shook it placing his other hand on top of hers and giving her a warm smile.
Mrs. Kotor smiled back, "Nice to meet you Gio, I am sorry I look like this though"
"No worries my dear. I would like you to meet my wife, Marget"
As the three adults introduce each other, Chayse stood in the background, as soon as she was about to go inside she saw a boy coming out of the truck holding a little girl in his arm.

Nathaniel struggle as he tried to get Abigail out of truck, "Come on Abbie we have to get of the truck and met the people outside"
Abigail stared at him, unamused, "I want to go back home"
Giving up, Nathaniel sighed, "Look, we can't go back home. You need to be a big girl, and get out of the truck before mom gets really angry at us"
Abigail sat up straight, clutching her ill treated teddy bear, "What if none of the kids at school like me? Or they don't have a malt shop here like they do back home?" Her eyes were beginning to fill with tears.
"Don't worry all the kids will like you, because you are the coolest little sister ever and we'll find a malt shop, just me and you"
Abigail smiled, jumping down out of the truck and holding onto Nathaniel's hand.
"And these are my kids!" Anne said with excitement, as she saw Nathaniel and Abigail walking together hand in hand.
"You have such lovely children" Marget said smiling warmly
"Thank you so much"
"I must apologize for being so rude, but this your next door neighbor, Chayse Tarver. She's a very nice young lady, she helps out a lot with tending the garden and such" Marget smiled towards Chasye directions.

Nervously, Chasye waved at the Kotor family and softly spoke, "Hello"
The Kotor family smiled back, Nathaniel specifically scoffing but does not make a comment.

Chasye after a few moments of standing there awkwardly, goes inside of her house.
From her bedroom window she watches the Kotor family move into the Foreman's home. Across from her bedroom window was Nathaniel's room. Chayse didn't notice she was too busy organizing and re-organizing things in her room keeping herself occupied.

Nathaniel, hanging up posters in his room look across and notices Chayse's room in the house next door to his. He didn't want to botheer her while she was working on whatever she was doing, after all in his eyes she did seem a bit snobbish and annoying.

"Welcome, Mr. Kotor!" Principal Mundane bellowed.
Nathaniel winced at his booming voice after all he did had a restless night. He blinked his eyes a couple times reminding himself to stay alert on the first day of school and just make a good impression.

"New kids in town I see" Asher smiled as Chayse stepped outside of the door, waiting for her.
"Pretty much" Chayse responded, embracing him with a hug.
Asher smiled, "Uhm, what's that for?"
"I'm just in a happy mood, clearly"
Chayse's short reddish brown curly hair shine in the sun, and her body filled out her floral strap dress perfectly.
"So, what are they like?" Asher asked as they began to walk the 10 minute walk to their school.
"I haven't even spoken to him yet"
"So, they don't have a Dad or anything?"
"I don't even know" Chayse shrugged.

In the distance, Nathaniel was walking towards them, finally free from Principal Mundane's constant talking.
Chayse smiled, as Nathaniel walked towards them, "That's him"
Her voice was dreamy like and Asher followed her eyes, and were fixed and the handsome young men walking towards them.

Nathaniel grunted as his he felt the sun coming through the blinds beaming down on his close eyelids. He heard his mother footsteps coming up on the stairs to his attic bedroom. He wasn't finish packing yet, his walls were still adorned with posters and pictures. There were boxes filled with books and CDs but most of his stuff wasn't still packed away.

He covered his head with his blanket and buried his face into his pillow. He didn't feel like talking to anyone since yesterday afternoon, he didn't want to bother with explaining to everyone what happened but the thought dwell in his mind for a moment as his face was deep into his pillow.

"So . . .you're moving? You're moving to Maine?" Canada, his best friend, sat beside him on the park bench as she stared him down.
It was late in the afternoon and surprisingly, no one was around the marsh lands kayaking when the two decided to go and talk a bit.

Nathaniel sighed, avoiding eye contact, "Pretty much, pretty much"

His slender fingers drummed against the wooden table. He was craving a cigarette, and soon he reached for a pack of Marlboro cigarettes in his back pocket. He took one out and lighted it, inhaling the nicotine deeply before finally letting go and letting the smoke come out of his full lips slowly.

Canada looked at him, her blue eyes squinting through the smoke. She bit her lower lip and her hands were clasped together, as if she was struggling to say something.
"I don't want you to move" She finally said.
"It's not like I want to move either" Nathaniel took another drag, and tapped his cigarette gently letting the ashes fall onto the dried up grass.
"No I mean I don't want you to move because . . . I like you a lot, Nat"
Nathaniel shook his head and laughed, "Nice one Canada, that's really funny"
"I'm being serious, Nathaniel. I know you have your issues and all ever since the --"
Nathaniel shot her glance, he would always get tensed whenever they talked about the event that happened.
Canada felt his cold stare, "Well you know what I'm talking about and I just think we would be great together"
"Unfortunately, I don't think so. Your parents already don't want you around me" Nathaniel dropped his cigarette onto the grass, and stepped on it letting the fire burn out quickly.
"Well eff them then. I'm friggin' 17 years old, I should make my own decisions!"
"I don't think you actually have the brains to handle making your own decisions since you're out here with me, skipping school"
"I am capable"
"Or what about the time with John? Yes, you remember that don't you? The pregnancy scare after I simply told you to take the protection after you two do your dirty deeds but no you were all, "it's cool Nat, it's cool" You remember?"
Canada rolled her eyes, her thin lips disappearing as she pressed them together into a fold.

Nathaniel smirked at her, his full cherry colored lips curving slightly, "Exactly". He got off the bench, and walked to where Canada was sitting across from him. "C'mon let me take you home"
"No, you can be such an ass sometimes Nat, I swear" Canada got out of her seat her cheeks were wet as tears flow out of her eyes uncontrollably.
"Canada, I was just joking! Oh, c'mon" Nathaniel tugged her arm, pulling her into him.
"Let me go"
"I'm sorry but honestly? You like me great, but get over it" Nathaniel finally let her go
"Whatever. They should have killed you Nat, they really should."
Nathaniel flipped her off, as he walked away towards his car.
Canada stood there crying hysterics, her light brown hair in a mess and her pale face turning even paler as she cried.

Nathaniel turned the ignition on as his car, Edgar, a old black convertible that Nathaniel took pride in, revved up . As he drove off he turned on the radio, and soon had Pen to The Paper by Parlovr blasting as he drove through the neighborhood.
As he turned at the curb leading to his neighborhood his mother was there talking to the neighbors. They were the only people she ever talked to. He parked his car in the driveway, turned off the ignition and stepped out of the car.

"Hi Mom" Nathaniel said, pursing his lips together and widening his eyes giving his, "Wow, you really are stupid" look.
His mom looked back and smile, "Hey Nat".
"Hello, Mr. Kotor" His neighbor said waving at him.
"Aw please, don't call me Mr. Kotor you make  feel like my old man" Nathaniel stuff his hands into his pants pocket and rocked back and forth from heel to toe.
His neighbor just stared at him, and went back to talking to his mother.

He was just happy that she didn't ask him how the whole Canada thing went. He climbed upstairs all the way to his attic bedroom. It was escape place, just to get away from everything.

The walls were adorned with posters of his favorite bands and Polaroids that he hung up and his messy bed in one corner. His slanted ceiling had a huge black blanket and on it he had stick on glow in the dark star stickers and little light bulbs so that in the night he could pretend that he was falling asleep underneath the stars outside.

He walked over throwing his favorite plaid shirt into his closet, he flopped onto his messy bed with just black v neck and skinny jeans on.
Grabbing a picture off his night table he stared at it and smiled, he began to sing softly,

But it was not your fault but mine
and it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn't I, my dear?

He repeated the words as his finger brush over the smooth surface. He stopped himself after a few moments he laid the picture face down on his night table. He looked up at his ceiling, the light bulbs twinkled and in the background he had Mistaken for Strangers by The National playing as he fell asleep. And now here he was his face buried in a pillow and his mind wandering into the unknown.

"Come on Nat! It's moving day" His mother burst into the room.
He grunted, pulling the covers off his head and finally coming up for air,
"Can we just stay here in Texas? I don't care if I have to deal with all of these people, let's just stay here" He pleaded.
"Ah, I know you want to stay here Nat," She sat at the edge of his bed and ruffled his hair a bit, "but we can't stay here any longer. We can't lead a normal life, not like this we just can't"
Nathaniel got up his clothes and hair disheveled. He tore his posters down off his wall, as his mothers carefully took down each Polaroid  placing them safely in a ziplock bag. Carefully, he took down the blanket of where his ceiling stars used to be. He folded it and put into a box.

His room was bare, as he got dress he looked around his empty room remembering all the stuff that happened in his room.
Before he left he saw the picture he was holding last night on the ground, he picked it up and a box of newspaper clippings. He placed the picture inside the box and walked out of his room closing the door behind him.

As Nathaniel, his mother and his little sister, Abigail, drove off in the U-Haul truck they rented he watched outside of the window of the town he was leaving behind. They were some people lining up in the streets to watch them leave, he saw Canada standing there. Her eyes were still red, and she was clutching herself. She probably just took a hit Nathaniel thought as they drove past her.

"Goodbye Texas," He murmured underneath his breath as he put his headphones around his ears, "goodbye forever"

Chasye scribbled down the last piece of notes she needed for tonight's homework as the teacher quickly erased everything off the dry erase board. Asher tapped her shoulder gently, his perfect white teeth smiling at the back of her head. Chasye shrugged her shoulder, making his hand fall off, making a clear sign she wanted to be left alone and not bothered as she wrote the notes down. She dropped her pencil on the desk, and sighed loudly, blowing her cheeks out as she did so. She closed her notebook, putting it carefully into her canvas rucksack that was adorned with pins and little trinkets. She turned around facing Asher , her brown eyes staring at his masculine face. His smokey eyes stared back into hers as a sly smile creeped on his face,

"What did you want?" Chasye said, snapping him out of his dream state
"You know you could have copy the last piece of the notes from me, right?" Asher responded, waving his notebook.
"Maybe . . .maybe I didn't want to" Chasye smartly commented.
"Whatever. Anyways, did you listen to the mixtape I gave you?"
The bell rang, and the two got up, taking their bookbags along with them.
"Yeah, I did. I really like Timshel. It's beautiful" Chasye smiled, as she let her bookbag hang off her shoulder.
"I know, it really is. What others did you like?" Asher asked, put his messenger bag across his shoulder.
"As Tall As Lions is really good, too!"
The two walked out into the hallway together, the hallway already crowded with students putting things away in their lockers, talking to their friends or simply rushing to their next class.
"Well, I'm glad you at least liked some of the songs on the mixtape this time"
"It's not my fault that the songs you put on there the last time completely sucked"
Chasye shrugged, her hands doing the movement along with her.

She was backwards, when she accidentally push into one of the girls, that was gathered in a group gasping and staring at one girl in the middle, applying concealer.

"Oh I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry, I didn't mean to -- I mean it's not even that bad like really" Chasye panicked as she spoke.
"It's not that bad? You made me get concealer all of my favorite and not to mention, brand new top!" The girl's pierced through Chasye as she glared at her, the concealer soaking into her shirt.
"Maddie, it's not that big of a deal. It was an accident, just get over it. If it makes you feel any better, you can watch it in the art room, or wait until you get home" Asher interjected, stepping in between the two ladies and placing a heavy hand of Maddie's shoulder.
Maddie eyes darted to Asher's masculine hands, she shivered and gave a weak smile.
"Ok, I will. Just for you Asher, just for you" She smiled, winking at him flirtatiously.
Kristopher slowly draw his hand away from Maddie's shoulder, and nodding his head,
"I'm glad we got through an understanding"
Maddie tossed her blonde locks, peering over his shoulder,
"As for you, Tarver, watch where you're going next time"

The two watch as Maddie and her a little group walked away, heading towards the cafeteria.
"I saved your ass again" Asher finally said, clearing the silence away as soon as Maddie turned the corner.
He was now facing his locker which wasn't too far away from where the scene was.
"You shouldn't have anyway, I'm old enough to handle my own battles" Chasyerolled her eyes.
"Yet, you were quivering like a little child. yep, you are really ready to fight your own battles" Asher smirked, as he placed some books into his locker.
"You're such a pain in the ass sometimes, I swear"  Chasye leaned against the lockers, kicking her foot up against the wall.
"If it wasn't for me, you would have been walking around with a bloody lip"
"Oh please! Maddie can't even fit a raging rabbit for her stupid life"
Asher chuckled, slamming the locker door, "I was kidding. Everybody knows she can't fight"
Chasye walked away heading towards the front door, "Where you're going?" Asher asked.
"Eh, don't feel like being in Fulton's class. I'm not up for Shakespeare talk at the moment"
"So, you're skipping class?"
"Yes"
"Then why couldn't you just say that?"
"Leave me alone, Rivera. Are you coming or not?"
Asher  slung his bag across his shoulder and followed behind her.

"You're absolutely ridiculously" Asher said as sipped some Sprite
Chasye stared at him, her lips slightly parted, her cheeks filled with bread and tuna. She chugged down her water, and swallowed the contents in her mouth.
"I am not being ridiculously! it's true"
"So what if you feel as if you are misfit, misfits are the best"
"Well, not for me it isn't."
"You need to stop dunking yourself in self pity, really"
Chasye put down her sandwich, "You just don't get it. Why don't you just shut up? Honestly, you're aren't even worth my time"
Chasye picked up her bag, and left the restaurant. Asher remain seated at the little booth they were in.

He didn't bother to call after her, he just squinted his eyes as the sun beam through the stained glass and he watched as she crossed the street walking quickly. He sighed resting his head against the cheap red leather.
"She is such a bitch" One of the workers murmured as he cleaned up Asher's table.
"Don't call her that. She just has issues of her own, you don't even know her" Asher said.
The man shrugged and move onto the next table. Asher paid the bill and headed home, he decided to not bother Chasye for the rest of the day and just leave her to think things through.

Hello, to those who doesn't even know my blog exist! Eh, I don't really mind though. Anyhow, I would really love for you all to meet the characters. As of now, there really isn't a plot of any sort so I would call it a "go with the flow" story, I guess. Each character is unique in every whatsoever, however I'm going to guess that throughout the story the characters would change overtime as to what has happen many times in the past with my many other characters who's storyline or either their personality change throughout the course of the story. I'm betting that none of you really care about this and just want to see who the characters are and what is their purpose and such, yes? Well, here they are.

Chayse Kathleen Tarver. She's pretty much your average girl, as much as she try to fit in she tries to fit into the life over other classmates, she simply can't. She's a misfit, but she doesn't want to be one. She goes into extremes depth to become like her popular classmates but in the end, she's always left out to dry. When things can't seem to get any worse, her life heads towards a downward spiral as she began to engulf into self pity and insecurity. Her little brother, Ryan, isn't making things better either with his constant nagging and name calling Chayse hasn't ever thought that one day she just might want to strangle her brother. But when the new kid in the neighborhood rolls around, Chasye sees a light at the end of the tunnel.

Nathaniel Aubrey Kotor. He is different, and people tend to point that out, well, almost all the time. But in the end, Nathaniel, or Nat as his friends and family calls him, simply accept who he is and doesn't care what people think. The Native Texan also holds many secrets, to the point where his family moved from Texas to Maine, hoping to regain a normal lifestyle. As Nathaniel struggles to live a normal life like he once used to able to do before, he began to separate himself from reality, until he meets his new next door neighbor, Chasye.

Asher "Mintz" Rivera. One of Chasye's best friend. Even though he feel as if in Chasye's eyes, he is completely irrelevant to her life. He has a share of special moments with Chasye no matter how many times she push him away, and told him that he wasn't worth her time, he still stuck around and helped her out. He is a sure hit with most girls at his school, most notable for his smokey colored eyes and his amazing guitar playing none of watch fascinates Chasye in anyway. When the new kid, Nathaniel comes to town, Kristopher feels nothing but concerns once Chasye takes an interest in him. As his blood boils with jealously, Kristopher is willing to go to the extremes to get the new kid away from Chasye.

Denver Aislinn Costello.  Typical indie girl, if you must say. Even though she is lust after many boys in her school, for her pouty mouth and daring ways, she befriends Nathaniel and the two become extremely close, understanding each other;both mysterious and dark. She watches out for Nathaniel, as he does the same for her, but she's scared most of all is that she might have feelings Nathaniel. As she struggles to keep her feelings out of the way to maintain her friendship with Nathaniel. As she began to see herself as just a hopeless case, she began to draw herself away from Nathaniel or all to see her eyes turn green with envy as Chasye starts to take an interest in Nathaniel.

And there you have it, these are the main characters of this story. Of course throughout the story you'll meet sub characters, but those characters will remain irrelevant unless  they've struck a cord with you guys, the readers, and you all would love to see more them. In the next post (hopefully), I'll get to start the story off!

Hello. This is my first time on LiveJournal, I thought LiveJournal would be the best place for me at the moment to write a story or something of that sort. I'm from Tumblr, an active user at that, I'm probably currently best known as rockyhorrors. To others, I'm known to them as either bloodbankk, or goodbyeastronaut. I hope that I will feel welcomed and apart of the LiveJournal community, I'm already stressed out just from trying to put on a simply layout, really! Lol, but I've liking LiveJournal layouts a lot lately they are very cute. I sometimes wish they were Tumblr compatibale but they aren't sadly ): Anyways, in my next post I shall describe what this story would probably be about. I've had a certain rush of energy to write a story after not writing for a year, I was inspired by own writing from 2008 on my Blogger account. I feel as if my writing has improved those past two years, so why not try my hand at writing another story? But not only has my old Blogger account inspired me to write again, but the music, which has change a lot over the years from super alternative (I listened to The Maine, A Rocket to the Moon, etc) to lots and lots of indie music (Band of Horses, As Tall As Lions, Mumford & Sons, etc), has inspired me so much as well as nature and photography. All of these put together has inspired to write a new story, and to express my new creative talents that I have build up over the past two years. Currently the song Timshel - Mumford & Sons, is a song inspiration. So, I hope that all of you enjoy my soon to come story. Thank you.
